Bosco’s day as an extra
By cuzzy | October 23, 2008

Well it has been one exciting week for the chocolate guy and it all happened yesterday. Thanks to a friend of ours who is responsible for casting extras in local TV and film productions, Bosco and I were background for a movie yesterday.
The production was a Jesse Stone feature staring Mr. Tom Selleck! That is right, Magnum P.I. himself. After the day was over it is pretty safe to say that the second biggest star of the whole shoot was Bosco. People loved him, petted him and gave him ALOT of treats from the craft table.
The day was a long one for Boss but he was as well behaved and I could of suspected with all of the excitement and new people around. The best news, I got paid and Bosco still may as well.
I played a person from the town of Paradise, Massachusetts who walked his dog down the street. We were in one scene with Tom and all we did was what we do every day, walk down the street. Yes it was simple but we are now officially in the biz. It was shot at Point Pleasant Park in case anyone is curious.
Bosco proved he can be quite the actor, all his cues were right on and he seemed to just fall into the role of dog.
I took him home at lunch and when I got back they were all asking where he went and how he enjoyed his first movie. What a fun day.
Maybe Bosco can become a big time movie star now and pay us back for all the money we have spent on him!

Woohoo! Congrats the both of you!
This is a movie we MUST watch. Any idea when it’ll be showing?
And as much as we like Tom, we’re going to have disagree that Tom was the biggest star that day - after all, he didn’t get no treats, pats and hugs from nobody right?
Super news. We’re so happy for you.

Hmmm… As a novice photographer I sometimes feel awed by the amount of information I need to learn about photography. Still, the more posts like this i read, the better off i am. Thanks for helping me move on a bit.
