Woman to HRM: Don’t kill my dog
By cuzzy | August 19, 2008
An East Chezzetcook woman whose dog was seized for acting aggressively toward other animals is hoping that Halifax Regional Municipality will abandon its intent to kill her pet.
Francesca Rogier and her lawyer met with a municipal solicitor Monday and proposed that she pay to have a professional animal trainer evaluate whether her mixed-breed dog, Brindi, is dangerous. She expects a response from the municipality by Wednesday.
“I’m very hopeful we will be able to come out with an amenable solution for everybody,” Ms. Rogier said in an interview.
“I really just want my dog back.”

I don’t think killing the dog is the right thing to do. The woman is willing to have a professional animal trainer who why kill the dog?
