Last week I left you all with a few questions to try and get an idea of what I should be focusing on with this blog. I don’t have a fancy marketing department that can run focus groups and surveys. Bosco suggested the poll and I think it helped a lot. The results are in an and the one thing that is very clear is that you all want more Bosco!! Not a problem.
Here is the breakdown.

Here is what I am going to work on.
- Get ready for a lot more Bosco! I have thousands of pictures and a lot of videos to use so now that I know you love the chocolate guy I am going to post so much brown I hope you can handle it.
- More dog pictures of other friends and breeds. Send in your pictures, send me your flickr links, anything that shows off your dog. I will post them.
- I will do my best to post some funny stories that I write or find and even though I try to stay away from the celebs, you asked for them so maybe some Hollywood dog posts.
- The dog information is a big part of this blog and I think there is always room for more. But deep in the bowels of the blog there is so much good stuff that is not being seen. I will do my best to bring it out to the front so you cal all find it. Deal?? Of course it is.
- As for the advertising, I am working to find a fine line of still using it and not making the blog look like a giant billboard. Look for a lot of the ads and banners to move to an upcoming shopping page. There will still be some out front but only the sites and stores that I really like and use. Lucy’s Dog House is one of our favourites so please check them out.
- More features on other blogs is in the works. This one I do need your help on. Let me know a good blog to show off and like I have mentioned, April is feature month so fill out the form and answer some simple questions and I will have your blog featured faster than Bosco eats his dinner.
- A forum…….hmmm I will have to work on that one. I think it is a great place to chat with other dog owners but I did try it a few years ago and it failed. Maybe it is time to try again?
- There are contests coming. The one at Christmas was a huge success, I just need to come up with some prizes.
- Finally some of you want some more additions to the Halifax Dog Guide. Well I think it is growing pretty well and this area of the country loves dogs. Got a store or business or park you think I need to check out and share? Let me know.
Phew, that is a lot of stuff to work on but I know I can do it. This whole week I am working on making this blog better. You might not see a lot of changes out front but back here where the work is done trust me when I say I am working hard while Bosco naps all day.

I have a chocolate colored dog myself and i think that blogs are just awsome espeacially when there on chocolate dogs
