Shubie doobie doo where are you?

Shubie Park, that is where!
Today we finally went to Shubie Park in Dartmouth to check out the off leash dog area and based on the fact that Bosco has been sleeping ever since, I would say it was a success.
The sun was shining and the weather was great so it was the perfect afternoon to get some spring air.
Once we finally found it after asking for some directions we parked and hit the trails. There were a lot of people out and about so that made it extra fun for Bosco.
Once we found the off leash part he was free and checking out all of the other dogs.
Of course there were tennis balls to steal and dogs to wrestle with.
After walking around we found some water and Bosco had a chilly swim, he does not care about that stuff.
Oh the view of Dartmouth Crossing sure was great haha.
We walked around a little bit more so Bosco could dry off and then we went home.
When you go please remember the rules.
Shubie Park Off Leash Area Rules (see map)
* Dogs must be on leash unless signs indicate otherwise.
* Dogs must have current HRM tags.
* You must carry a leash.
* Your dog must come to you when called.
* You must keep your dog within sight.
* You will be held responsible for any damages or injuries caused by a dog in your care.
* Dogs must not interfere with other park users.
* Aggressive dogs, female dogs in heat, and puppies under three months old are not permitted in off leash areas.
* You must pick up your dog’s waste immediately.
We will be going back there for sure and I can’t wait to see what it is like in the summer. The ducks better be ready for a happy lab chasing them all around the park.
