Looking for a cool dog, try a Dachshund

I have always been a fan of the Lab clearly but there are other dog breeds that I love.
One of them is the Dachshund. I grew up down the street from a man who had one and they are one of the coolest dogs around. Best of all you can pick them up and take them with you.
Have you thought about Dachshund puppies? Well let me tell you about a website that will help you learn more about the breed and what they are all about.
The site is Dogchannel.com and they have all kinds of info on any dog you can think of. Wait, wait, don’t go looking yet. I am trying to tell you about dachshunds.
First of all you may not know what Dachshund is. The breed is a short-legged dog that at one time were used in Europe to hunt badger and fox, as well as larger game. The dogs worked in packs and are reported to have been tenacious and keen-nosed in pursuit of their prize.
I did a little reading up on them and I was very surprised to read how long a Dachshund lives. 12-14 years is the life expectancy of the breed. Pretty good.
On the site you will find many pictures of the dog and ads for places where you can get a Dachshund puppy.
This website is great if you are looking for info on this particular breed of dog or any dog breed.
Full of helpful links and alot of cute pictures.
Bosco says go check it out.

Hey,
I agree. Dachshunds are great dogs!! In fact I have one! She is my pride and joy!!!! It is wonderful to feel needed, and it is so cool how no matter what you do (not hurting her on purpose of course) dogs always love you…except under abusive circumstances!!!! My female (Pixie) is just about to have puppies any day now!!! She is quite large, so it will probably be a pretty big litter! If anyone is interested in getting one you can contact me at sonshinedachshunds@gmail.com
The puppies will be ready for new homes by the end of October!
The sire is a red long-haired beauty, and the dam is a red short-hair. Both parents have VERY good personalities…and are very attractive!!!!! Pixie (the femele) has champion bloodlines! I will give you the prices and other details if you contact me!!!!
Thank you,
Summer

These dogs are are wonderful. Very comical! I’ve got two, a boy and a girl. But be warned they require a great deal of training and if you have children you might consider getting a standard instead of a mini. The mini’s tend to have more back problems and if you can’t pay for the vet bills then you definitely don’t want a Doxie, period. If you aren’t prepared to keep them from jumping on and off furniture, not allow them to sleep in your bed, block off the stairs, and teach your children to pick them up properly–always supporting their bums, then I would consider another breed. In my opinion, they are definitely worth all the fuss, but make sure you are the kind of person that can provide for their particular needs.

I have a dachshund! (A brown one, that is.) Dachshunds bark so loud, if I heard one, but didn’t see it, I would think it was a black lab, or something. What I especially love about dachshunds: They’re so tiny!
P.S. (This directed to i love dachshunds) Mine, who was a purebred, and I got as a puppy, was around two hundred fifty dollars.

Dachshunds are truly great companion, we had one the in the house and he is the star and happiness of the family. With all his naughty deeds, we extremely adore the little guys, most especially how he comfort the elders by letting them pet him and give them some tender kiss..
