What annoys you about your dog?

Okay I know we love our dogs to death and like a good parent we will alway say our guy/girl is the best dog in the world. I think that of Bosco as well but of course he has his annoying traits.
- Always sits too close to us when we are eating. We have never given him table food so I don’t know why he thinks it will happen out of nowhere. The deal is he has to sit at a good distance and when he is done he can scavenge all he wants. His silent stare during dinner can really unnerve people.
- His constant licking of his nose. I am sure it is a sign of nerves and anxiety but sometimes that smacking noise can get to us. His water dish is always full so if he needs to freshen up, he can.
- His “me first” attitude in the morning. Yes I know it is my fault for catering to it but come on. Let me sleep in once in awhile. He lets Katie sleep in. Once he gets his food he vanishes for a few hours until he does the same thing for a walk. He just can’t settle until he gets that walk. I know, it is all about routine. I am not saying I hate it but certain days it can be very annoying.
- His size. Cleary not his fault but due to his size and his happy tail, stuff gets knocked over a lot.
- The biohazard known as his breath. Woo-wee sometimes it can clear a room. Usually a sign it is time to fill the water dish.
- His downward dog toot position. Whenever he gets out of the chair he does the stretch and fart thing. It is mostly amusing but can be annoying when you are too close to it.
- Like all labs they want to be where the action is. Sometimes we don’t want him to be where the action is and send him to his room to sleep. Well he can’t handle this and always sneaks back in. Not a big deal but I hate when he does not listen to what we tell him. He gets it and knows what to do, he just thinks his cute face will get him back in the room.
What are some of the things that annoy you about your dog? Don’t worry, I know you love them but we all have limits.
