Do Something and Del Monte Doing Good For Dogs
By cuzzy | November 2, 2007
Every now and then I get emails from people asking for a little help to promote their site or product. Generally I pass because it is just someone wanting free press for their own stuff.
This is different and I think it is a good cause.
I wanted to contact you on behalf of the Del Monte Do Something Good For You! Grant that is awarding a young winner $2500 to promote healthy living, including dog related programs.
Do Something and Del Monte Foods are encouraging anyone under age 26 with an idea or program that promotes healthy living in their school or community to submit their projects for a chance to win the $2,500 Del Monte Do Something Good For You! Grant. One of the program suggestions is to build a dog park, where pets and pet parents can get active together.
We’d love your help getting the word out about this great opportunity for young people to make a difference both for their own health AND their pets!
Visit http://www.dosomething.org/node/36048 for more info on the grant.
We’d love to hear your thoughts- please feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
Best,
Naomi Hirabayashi
