Oakglen Kennels - Bosco says yes please

As you know Katie and I went to Boston for the long weekend leaving Bosco behind. We tried out a new kennel out of the city and upon our return and getting Bosco back we were more than pleased.
The name of the boarding house is Oakglen Kennels and it is located on St. Margaret’s Bay Road in Hubley. The boarding kennels are equipped with spacious indoor pens with individual attached covered outdoor runs. Dogs are housed individually, unless by request for multiple family pets.
Bosco had his own space and a lot of time to play with all the other dogs there. Based on the fact that he slept all day and could hardly move once he was home I would say he had a good time.
Bosco came home smelling all clean and had some nicely clipped nails too. Kathy Crane, who I met when I dropped off Bosco and picked him up said Bosco was one of the most well mannered chocolate labs she has seen. That sure brought a smile to my face because someone working at a kennel has seen every kind of dog there is. Here I thought Bosco would go crazy and jump all over everyone.
We will certainly be going back there again and next time it may even include Mercy because they also take cats. I found the place to be very friendly and a great environment to take your dog when you go away on a trip. I never worried nor did I have a reason to worry. They even fed Bosco their own all natural food that they mix up on site.

I knew it was a good omen when I found out that Kathy used to live on Kline Street just like us. I would recommend this place without hesitation, give it a look because I know how hard it is to find a place to drop off “the kids” especially in Halifax.
